{"id":720772,"date":"2023-09-25T14:53:46","date_gmt":"2023-09-25T12:53:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=720772"},"modified":"2023-09-25T14:57:11","modified_gmt":"2023-09-25T12:57:11","slug":"load-shedding-update-for-the-week-heres-the-new-schedule","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/energy\/720772\/load-shedding-update-for-the-week-heres-the-new-schedule\/","title":{"rendered":"Load shedding update for the week &#8211; here&#8217;s the new schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Eskom has announced the new load shedding schedule for the week ahead, with a rotation between stages 2 and 3 expected for the rest of the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eskom said that breakdowns currently stand at 15,984MW of generation capacity, but six generation units are expected to return to service tomorrow, 26 September. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage 3 load shedding will thus remain implemented from now until 05h00 on Tuesday, 26 September. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thereafter, stage 2 will be in effect from 0500 to 16h00, with stage 3 then kicking in again until 05h00 on Wednesday, 27 September. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eskom said that this pattern will continue for the rest of the week.
