{"id":723184,"date":"2023-10-05T15:45:15","date_gmt":"2023-10-05T13:45:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=723184"},"modified":"2023-10-05T16:36:01","modified_gmt":"2023-10-05T14:36:01","slug":"pick-n-pay-relaunches-on-demand-delivery-app-with-a-month-of-free-delivery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/lifestyle\/723184\/pick-n-pay-relaunches-on-demand-delivery-app-with-a-month-of-free-delivery\/","title":{"rendered":"Pick n Pay &#8216;relaunches&#8217; on-demand delivery app &#8211; with a month of free delivery"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Pick n Pay has relaunched its same-day on-demand delivery app, Asap!, and is giving users access to free deliveries for the month of October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group has taken a dig at Checkers Sixty60&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/business\/720616\/checkers-launches-subscription-service-for-unlimited-sixty60-delivery\/\"><strong>recently launched subscription service<\/strong><\/a> by noting that the free deliveries are open to all users without a subscription needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The free deliveries can be accessed by using the promotion code: FRESHAPP<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pick n Pay said that the standard <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pnp.co.za\/ols-tncs\"><strong>terms and conditions<\/strong><\/a> apply &#8211; with a specific requirement being a R100 minimum basket spend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Pick n Pay, the relaunch encompasses upgrades to the app and the systems behind the app, while also incorporating &#8220;smart AI&#8221; for personalised results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The app also features live order tracking, a host of personal shoppers for picking and packing orders, as well as bolstering access to mobile shopping on top of the group&#8217;s partnership with Takealot&#8217;s Mr D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pick n Pay launched its PnP Groceries section on Takealot\u2019s Mr D platform  in October 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its most recent financial update &#8211; paired with the announcement that the group would be replacing its CEO Peter Boone with former CEO Sean Summers &#8211; the group reported that its online and digital sales, driven by Pick n Pay asap!
