{"id":725058,"date":"2023-10-14T11:58:51","date_gmt":"2023-10-14T09:58:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=725058"},"modified":"2023-10-14T12:02:30","modified_gmt":"2023-10-14T10:02:30","slug":"eskom-extends-load-shedding-suspension-heres-the-new-schedule","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/energy\/725058\/eskom-extends-load-shedding-suspension-heres-the-new-schedule\/","title":{"rendered":"Eskom extends load shedding suspension &#8211; here&#8217;s the new schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Eskom will keep load shedding suspended until Sunday afternoon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eskom said that load shedding will remain suspended today, 14 October until 16:00 on Sunday, 15 October. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thereafter, stage 2 load shedding will be implemented from 16:00 until 05:00 on Monday, 16 October.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The embattled power utility said that this is possible due to breakdowns dropping to 12,168 MW whilst generating capacity out for planned maintenance stands at 6,484 MW. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a correlation between planned maintenance and the rate of failures of the units.
