JSE-listed technology group, Altron TMT has announced the acquisition of Inter-Active Technologies by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Bytes People Solutions.<\/p>\n
The acquisition agreement is subject to regulatory approval by the Competition Commission.<\/p>\n
Described as a customer interaction management business, Inter-Active Technologies delivers a range of customer service enhancing\u00a0 tools and professional services to a variety of blue chip South African customers.<\/p>\n
These include professional call centre consulting services, outsourced customer contact centres, customer service technology platforms and customer service software.<\/p>\n
The acquisition is of strategic importance to the Bytes People Solutions business in that it extends the range of value offerings across both inbound and outbound customer services to current and new customers, Altron said.<\/p>\n
It added that it expects the transition period to be seamless as the respective teams try to ensure the consolidation of Inter-Active Technologies\u2019 staff, facilities and customers into Bytes People Solutions.<\/p>\n
