{"id":73110,"date":"2014-11-12T08:22:45","date_gmt":"2014-11-12T06:22:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=73110"},"modified":"2014-11-12T08:22:45","modified_gmt":"2014-11-12T06:22:45","slug":"samsung-hits-back-at-nvidia-with-counter-sue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/hardware\/73110\/samsung-hits-back-at-nvidia-with-counter-sue\/","title":{"rendered":"Samsung hits back at Nvidia with counter-sue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Samsung Electronics Co Ltd has accused Nvidia Corp of infringing several of its semiconductor-related patents and for making false claims about its products, counter-suing after Nvidia filed a lawsuit against the Korean company in September.<\/p>\n<p>Samsung, which filed its lawsuit on Monday, is seeking damages for deliberate infringement of several technical patents, including a few that govern the way semiconductors buffer and use data.<\/p>\n<p>The Asian electronics company also accuses Nvidia of false advertising when it says its &#8220;Shield&#8221; tablet sports the world&#8217;s fastest mobile processor, the Tegra.
