{"id":731119,"date":"2023-11-14T19:37:24","date_gmt":"2023-11-14T17:37:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=731119"},"modified":"2023-11-14T19:37:24","modified_gmt":"2023-11-14T17:37:24","slug":"eskom-pushes-load-shedding-higher-heres-the-new-schedule","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/energy\/731119\/eskom-pushes-load-shedding-higher-heres-the-new-schedule\/","title":{"rendered":"Eskom pushes load shedding higher &#8211; here&#8217;s the new schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Power utility Eskom says that load shedding will now vary between Stages 2 and 3 for the rest of the week due to delays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Whilst some generating units have returned to service since Sunday, some are experiencing delays,&#8221; Eskom said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to these delays in returning the units back to service and the need to conserve emergency reserves, Stage 2 load shedding will be implemented from 05:00 until 16:00 on Wednesday, followed by Stage 3 load shedding from 16:00 until 05:00 on Thursday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This pattern of implementing Stage 2 loadshedding in the morning and Stage 3 loadshedding in the evening will be repeated daily until further notice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eskom noted it would monitor the system and communicate should any significant changes occur.
