Online retailer Takealot.com has revealed a list of its top five best selling items purchased via mobile phone.<\/p>\n
Last month, Takealot.com announced that it would merge with South Africa’s biggest e-commerce site, Naspers owned Kalahari.com.<\/p>\n
Claiming to be the ‘fastest growing online retailer’ in SA, Takealot.com said that mothers have been crowned \u2018the queens of mobile shopping\u2019, with the top five items sold on its site being baby products.<\/p>\n
It said that nappies topped the mobile shopping list by a long distance, with Pampers taking first place, followed by Huggies. Wet wipes was third on the list.<\/p>\n
In fourth place is Spectra breast milk storage bags, followed by bath time toy, Yookido Flow \u2018n Fill Spout.<\/p>\n
Takealot.com\u00a0re-launched its website in August, targeted at mobile.<\/p>\n
