Value\u00a0fashion\u00a0retailer Mr Price said online sales increased by 195% in results for the 26 weeks ended 27 September 2014.<\/p>\n
The group took its homeware division,\u00a0Mr Price\u00a0Home<\/a>\u00a0online in November 2013, along with and Sheet Street, while Mr\u00a0Price Apparel launched its online sales platform in South Africa in July 2012 and internationally in July 2013.<\/p>\n And in July, the group launched MRP Mobile, a 55% held subsidiary, offering cellular products to customers.<\/p>\n In South Africa, bricks and online retail sales grew by 13.4% to R7.2 billion, ahead of the market, Mr Price said, while online sales in SA grew by 195.3% to R44.7 million.<\/p>\n Overall online sales were up by 185.2% to R53.2 million, with international online sales up 142.3%, albeit off a low base.<\/p>\n Overall Mr Price said that revenue climbed 14.7% to R8.3 billion, while profit from operating activities improved 22.6% to R1.24 billion.<\/p>\n The group announced diluted headline earnings per share of 349 cents, up 23.0% and dividends per share (DPS) of 211.5 cents, up 25.9%.<\/p>\n Mr Price launches mobile network<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Mr Price online sales surges 300%<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\nMore on Mr Price<\/h3>\n
