HelloPeter founder Peter Cheales announced today, 25 November 2014, that he has left the company, which will now be led by a \u201cnew team of entrepreneurs\u201d.<\/p>\n

In an email to users, Cheales said that it was time for him to say goodbye. \u201cIt\u2019s time for fresh blood, more energy, and new life,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Cheales said that he could not reveal who the buyers were, but did say that it was a South African consortium of entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

He added that he had sold 100% of HelloPeter for an undisclosed amount, and that he had left the company on Friday.<\/p>\n

Cheales said that he will continue to write books and speak at conferences \u2013 things he enjoys and did before he started HelloPeter in 2000.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will continue to watch from the sidelines. The site will always be a part of me,\u201d Cheales told users.<\/p>\n
