{"id":74502,"date":"2014-11-26T10:27:25","date_gmt":"2014-11-26T08:27:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=74502"},"modified":"2014-11-26T10:30:07","modified_gmt":"2014-11-26T08:30:07","slug":"the-foschini-group-to-take-17-stores-online","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/trending\/74502\/the-foschini-group-to-take-17-stores-online\/","title":{"rendered":"The Foschini Group to take 17 stores online"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Foschini Group (TFG) has announced the launch of an omni-channel online retail platform &#8211; tfg.co.za &#8211; which will ultimately see all 17 of the group&#8217;s store brands coming online.<\/p>\n<p>The platform aims to provide customers with an &#8220;integrated, seamless shopping experience&#8221; with customers only needing to sign in once, and shop across all available brands.<\/p>\n<p>The platform uses Oracle&#8217;s e-commerce technology, Oracle ATG, which is used by global retailers such as Walmart and Urban Outfitters.
