Eskom ramps up outages as units go down"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Update &#8211; 27 January<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eskom says that four of its units have gone down overnight, necessitating that load shedding be escalated to stage 2 until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group had previously announced its intention to suspend load shedding during the day this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage 2 load shedding has been in effect since 05h00 on Saturday and will continue until conditions change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Original &#8211;
