shedding easing to stage 2 this weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Power utility Eskom has announced that load shedding will ease to stage 2 this weekend and will continue at this level until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the anticipated lower weekend electricity demand and the need to replenish emergency reserves in preparation for the week ahead, load shedding will be reduced to Stage 2 from 05h00 on Saturday, it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Eskom will closely monitor the power system and communicate should\u00a0it\u00a0be\u00a0required.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Load shedding on Friday will continue at stage 3, as previously announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Friday, 2 February<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stage 3: until
