Fibre has the potential to transmit information at virtually unlimited speed and capacity allowing for a continuous improvement of our broadband offers,\u201d said Telkom COO, Dr Brian Armstrong.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe reliability and quality of the fibre connection is unrivaled. Telkom\u2019s Fibre to the Home connectivity uses a pure Ethernet connection, eliminating the requirement for intermediate equipment such as modems. This results in a much more stable and reliable service.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Customers in these areas can opt for Telkom\u2019s promotional fibre 24 month offers including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>20Mbps line with 50GB data package for<strong> R999 per month<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>40Mbps line with 100GB package at <strong>R1,299 per month<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>100MBps line with 200 GB of data for <strong>R1,799 per month<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All three packages include a free WiFi router, a 3GB mailbox, email accounts with five aliases and Unlimited Night Surfer data.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur value proposition has been designed to meet our customer\u2019s growing appetite for media rich online content, allowing them to seamlessly engage with the most bandwidth hungry applications for a truly connected home experience,\u201d said Armstrong.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTelkom is gearing up to be as responsive to SA\u2019s growing demand for fibre as possible.
