{"id":75192,"date":"2014-12-04T16:04:41","date_gmt":"2014-12-04T14:04:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=75192"},"modified":"2014-12-04T16:05:26","modified_gmt":"2014-12-04T14:05:26","slug":"eskom-starts-countrywide-blackouts-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/trending\/75192\/eskom-starts-countrywide-blackouts-again\/","title":{"rendered":"Eskom starts countrywide blackouts, again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eskom will start rolling blackouts countrywide at 4pm on Thursday because of low diesel reserves, the parastatal said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Unfortunately it is necessary to implement stage two load shedding from 4pm to 10pm,&#8221; spokesman Andrew Etzinger said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Diesel reserves&#8230; are basically depleted and we are therefore experiencing a difficult situation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Diesel was needed to run the open cycle gas turbines.
