ODM appealed the whole order, including that of costs.

In its appeal application, ODM argued that Icasa’s decision was only invalid insofar as it failed to prohibit ODM from broadcasting films that had been classified as “X18”, in accordance with the Film and Publications Act.

It believed that remitting the decision back to Icasa would lead to unnecessary delay, prejudice and costs.

With Sapa

More on TopTV

Icasa not in the digital era: judge

TopTV fight goes to trial: report

SA pay-TV player targets 100 channels

On Digital Media (ODM)’s Top TV subscriber numbers have dwindled to between 80,000 – 85,000, from a high of 400,000.

[5554
26,6942,515
post-75390","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-media","tag-headline","tag-starsat","tag-top-tv
["GET
