to suspend load shedding during the day this weekend &#8211; here&#8217;s the schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Power utility Eskom says that it will ease load shedding over the coming weekend, moving sharply from a rotation of stage 2 and stage 4 outages to daytime suspensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage 2 load shedding will continue until 20h00 on Friday as previously announced, moving up to stage 4 overnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will be to replenish emergency reserves, the group said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 05h00 on Saturday, load shedding will be suspended, followed by stage 2 in the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following another daytime suspension on Sunday, stage 1 load shedding will continue until further notice, Eskom said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Friday, 8 class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stage 4: 00h00 to 05h00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Suspended: 05h00 to 16h00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stage 2: 16h00 to 00h00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sunday, 10 March<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stage 2: 00h00 to 05h00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Suspended: 05h00 to 16h00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stage 1: 16h00 until further the suspensions over the weekend are due to lower forecast demand, as well as an anticipated 1,500MW of generating capacity expected to be returned by
