{"id":76505,"date":"2014-12-30T17:01:32","date_gmt":"2014-12-30T15:01:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=76505"},"modified":"2014-12-30T17:01:32","modified_gmt":"2014-12-30T15:01:32","slug":"mtn-launches-its-video-on-demand-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/mobile\/76505\/mtn-launches-its-video-on-demand-service\/","title":{"rendered":"MTN launches its video on demand service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MTN launched its streaming video service called <a title=\"MTN FrontRow\" href=\"https:\/\/mtnfrontrow.discoverdigital.co.za\/#\/home\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>FrontRow<\/strong><\/a> on 29 December 2014, offering subscribers a wide range of TV series and movies.<\/p>\n<p>MTN FrontRow subscribers can stream the content via a web browser, or use an Android app. MTN said that an iOS app is in the pipeline.<\/p>\n<p>MTN FrontRow is a streaming service only, which means that no movie or TV series downloads are allowed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMTN FrontRow allows access through five devices but only one concurrent stream,\u201d MTN explained.<\/p>\n<p>The service is priced at R199 per month, which offers subscribers access to limited free content in the MTN FrontRow catalogue.<\/p>\n<p>Subscribers can also rent new movies from R15 a film on MTN FrontRow Premiere.
