Motshekga said the filling of vacant posts at schools was an ongoing process and In order to deal with the increased workload from vacant posts,\u00a0schools\u00a0are allowed to appoint temporary educators until a position has been filled. [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sabcnews.com\/sabcnews\/motshekga-reveals-over-30-000-teaching-vacancies-in-sa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SABC<\/a>]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Private sector funds needed for Eskom expansion:<\/strong> Eskom projects that expanding the grid with 14,200 km of high-voltage lines and 170 transformers over the next 10 years will cost at least R200 billion, funds that neither the utility nor the government currently possess. Think tanks Meridian Economics and Krutham have suggested that partnering with the private sector to finance this expansion is needed.
