{"id":771605,"date":"2024-05-13T10:58:05","date_gmt":"2024-05-13T08:58:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=771605"},"modified":"2024-05-13T10:58:09","modified_gmt":"2024-05-13T08:58:09","slug":"takealot-expands-on-demand-delivery-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/business\/771605\/takealot-expands-on-demand-delivery-service\/","title":{"rendered":"Takealot expands on-demand delivery service"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Takealot has officially expanded its on-demand delivery service, TakealotNOW, to areas in the greater Cape Town region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TakealotNOW, available on the Mr D app, is a service from the online retailer which offers a selection of hundreds Takealot products said to be delivered within 60 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The service is now available in these areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Atlantic Seaboard<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>City Bowl<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Woodstock<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rondebosch<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kenilworth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Milnerton<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ottery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Woodstock<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Century City<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foreshore<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plattekloof<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Richmond Park and <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other surrounding areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The group said the on-demand delivery market is rapidly growing, reflecting changing consumer shopping habits and preferences.
