{"id":772465,"date":"2024-05-17T10:15:31","date_gmt":"2024-05-17T08:15:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=772465"},"modified":"2024-05-17T10:44:01","modified_gmt":"2024-05-17T08:44:01","slug":"checkers-sixty60-adding-10000-large-items-with-free-same-day-delivery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/business\/772465\/checkers-sixty60-adding-10000-large-items-with-free-same-day-delivery\/","title":{"rendered":"Checkers Sixty60 adding 10,000 &#8216;large items&#8217; &#8211; with free same-day delivery"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Checkers has announced that it will be beta testing a new and improved version of its Sixty60 app, which will expand its item listing to over 10,000 larger Hyper products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These products will be listed with same-day delivery scheduled within a 60-minute time slot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delivery is free during beta testing and will remain free for Xtra Savings Plus subscribers, it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;With a new fleet of eye-catching Hyper delivery vans, Checkers Sixty60\u2019s product offering now extends beyond groceries to include larger items, ranging from camping and outdoor gear to small appliances, baby products, toys, kitchen and home electronics, gardening and pool equipment &#8211; all at supermarket prices,&#8221; the group said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re confident that the next iteration of Sixty60 will again disrupt online retail in South Africa.
