{"id":775758,"date":"2024-06-07T08:00:23","date_gmt":"2024-06-07T06:00:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=775758"},"modified":"2024-06-07T08:37:05","modified_gmt":"2024-06-07T06:37:05","slug":"bomb-threat-at-cape-town-airport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/lifestyle\/775758\/bomb-threat-at-cape-town-airport\/","title":{"rendered":"Bomb scare at Cape Town airport"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The South African Police Service (SAPS) Bomb Squad was deployed to a FlySafair plane following a security threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) said that the SAPS Bomb Squad was deployed to the Cape Town International Airport after the crew of a departing flight was alerted to a possible security threat aboard the aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It said that the threat was successfully managed by the SAPS and relevant law enforcement agencies.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The passengers and crew aboard FlySafair FA102, which was due to depart for O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, were all safely disembarked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The safety and security of the passengers and crew are of utmost importance.
