The estate agency has maintained a significant market share in Camps Bay and is growing in the Atlantic Seaboard real estate market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their most expensive property is a seven-bedroom, seven-bathroom development in an exclusive area in Clifton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clifton is the most expensive neighbourhood in South Africa. Its median price was R25 million, peaking at R150 million in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The area is known for its exceptional views, world-class beaches, and good restaurants and bars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a sought-after location to own property among the world\u2019s ultra-high-net-worth individuals, who typically visit the area in summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clifton has a reputation as a playground for the world\u2019s rich and famous. Hollywood celebrities are often spotted in the restaurants and bars in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has around 300 private houses and 40 developments that have about 550 apartments. There is very little land available for additional developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of the properties are a short walk away from Clifton\u2019s world-class beaches, shops, and restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The limited number of houses means there is always a shortage of supply, which keeps prices high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Engel and Volkers Cape Town\u2019s Paul Turner said between twelve and fifteen apartments in Clifton sell each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOwners are generally reluctant to sell as they enjoy their time in Clifton, and if they don\u2019t have a financial need to sell, they don\u2019t,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis also helps keep prices and values high as they will only consider selling at an attractive price.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The property was designed by the internationally acclaimed architect SAOTA. \u201cThis masterpiece bears the hallmark of exceptional design,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She added that the 7-bedroom residence provides a sense of exclusivity, privacy, and serenity, enhanced by its views of the Camps Bay and Clifton beaches and surrounding mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The off-plan development consists of two properties. \u201cWith completion set for 18 months, you still have the opportunity to personalise the layout and design to your liking,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

People entering the villa will be greeted by an interior space of 635 square meters, a grand entrance with wood panelling, and a waterfall feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The open-plan living areas and spacious en-suite bedrooms on the first floor lead outside to a private garden, expansive entertainment patio, and oversized swimming pool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upstairs, the double-volume living spaces provide a blend of nature and architecture, with a large deck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second property, a penthouse with an interior space of 504 square meters, offers a double-volume space with an inverted glass butterfly roof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also offers a spacious terrace with an infinity pool and great views of Clifton, Camps Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 635 square meter villa has four en-suite bedrooms, and the 504 square meter penthouse has three en-suite bedrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The development solves one of Clifton\u2019s biggest drawbacks, parking, by offering eight garages to the buyer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
