{"id":78737,"date":"2015-02-02T08:48:37","date_gmt":"2015-02-02T06:48:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=78737"},"modified":"2015-02-02T08:48:37","modified_gmt":"2015-02-02T06:48:37","slug":"sa-post-office-expects-r1-3-billion-loss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/trending\/78737\/sa-post-office-expects-r1-3-billion-loss\/","title":{"rendered":"SA Post Office expects R1.3 billion loss"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The SA Post Office (Sapo) expects to report a loss of R1.3 billion by the end of its financial year in March, Beeld reported on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>For this and other reason auditors expressed doubts, in Sapo&#8217;s 2014-15 annual report, that it will still be a going concern by the end of the current financial year.<\/p>\n<p>The report was handed in to Parliament last week, four months late.<\/p>\n<p>Fruitless and wasteful expenditure amounted to R41 million, and unauthorised expenditure R213.6m.
