Volkswagen will launch a new model of the highly popular Polo Vivo in South Africa in September 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its introduction in 2010, the Polo Vivo has been South Africa’s top-selling passenger model, with over 425,000 units sold across South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new refreshed model will have a new front-end design, infotainment, seat trim design, and enhanced safety features. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The new Polo Vivo has been refreshed with distinct interior and exterior enhancements. Visually, the new Polo Vivo can be identified in the front-end by a 2D Volkswagen badge, redesigned front bumper with Daytime Running Lights and new headlights,” said VW. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The rear end also spots a new 2D Volkswagen badge with the Vivo name in chrome centred below it and a new antenna. Additionally, the new model introduces fresh colours, new interior seat materials and new equipment line naming convention.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Vivo, Life, Style, and GT will also have new interior trims, a new infotainment system with a 9-inch Mirgor radio with four to six speakers (depending on the equipment line), and App-Connect. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seats have also been updated with new material and designs, which include front-side airbags (standard on the Style and GT) for additional safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Exterior features include black painted mirror caps, adding a sleek and sophisticated touch to the GT model. New 15 and 16-inch (standard on the Life and Style models) wheels enhance the vehicle\u2019s appeal and driving dynamics,” said VW. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The new headlights from the Life models offer improved illumination and a modern look. The exterior features a 2D Volkswagen emblem, a fresh design element, including bumper skin, lower and upper grille with chrome accents, and integrated fog and cornering lights with daytime running lights.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“An optional rear-view camera for convenience and safety with a clear view is available from the life derivatives.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Polo Vivo also features enhanced safety features, such as Electronic Stability Control (ESC), hill start control, and remote central locking – standard across the range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
