Eskom says that there is a low to medium probability of load shedding on Thursday (12 February), though warns its systems remain constrained.<\/p>\n

Eskom has had to implement load shedding between stage one and three almost every day for the past few weeks.<\/p>\n

During stage one blackouts 1000MW of the national load is cut, 2000MW during stage two, and 4000MW in stage three.<\/p>\n

The power utility said its system remained severely constrained and would be for the rest of the week.<\/p>\n

The grid would remain under pressure for the forseeable future, with currently projections seeing the system in the red until April at the very least.<\/p>\n

Eskom said on Wednesday that it had found that numerous municipalities left street lights on during the day, while people also left their house lights on.<\/p>\n
