{"id":79842,"date":"2015-02-16T10:54:07","date_gmt":"2015-02-16T08:54:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=79842"},"modified":"2015-02-16T10:54:07","modified_gmt":"2015-02-16T08:54:07","slug":"vodacom-appoints-new-executive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/mobile\/79842\/vodacom-appoints-new-executive\/","title":{"rendered":"Vodacom appoints new executive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Vodacom has appointed Godfrey Motsa as\u00a0the\u00a0new chief executive of its consumer business unit.<\/p>\n<p>Motsa replaces former executive, Phil Patel, who is moving to Vodacom as\u00a0regional commercial director for Africa, the Middle and Asia-Pacific.<\/p>\n<p>Patel joined Vodacom in July 2012 having\u00a0previously held the position as chief of enterprise business unit at Vodafone Turkey.<\/p>\n<p>He has held a number of senior commercial and marketing positions at Vodafone since 2004 when he first joined the Vodafone group.
