Press Pulse’s new online media sentiment report revealed that all big state-owned enterprises have negative scores, with Eskom being the worst by far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Press Pulse’s sentiment analysis<\/a><\/strong> for South Africa\u2019s largest state-owned enterprises showed that Eskom has a serious reputational problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eskom\u2019s negative sentiment score of -231 is much lower than any company or state-owned enterprise in South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other large state-owned enterprises, Transnet, SABC, and the SA Post Office, also had negative sentiment scores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This showed that these companies received mostly negative press and were poorly perceived by the media and citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n
