Apple Watch pre-orders will open on 10 April 2015, and the devices will become available on 24 April 2015, Apple CEO Tim Cook has announced.<\/p>\n

This comes after Cook said in January during their first quarterly earnings call for 2015 that the Apple Watch would go on sale<\/strong><\/a> from April 2015.<\/p>\n

Cook confirmed the 38mm version of the anodised aluminium Apple Watch Sport will cost $349, while a 42mm version will cost $399.<\/p>\n

He also announced that a stainless steel version of the device, simply dubbed the \u201cApple Watch\u201d will vary in price depending on the strap you choose.<\/p>\n

For the 38mm Apple Watch, the price will vary between $549 and $1049, while the 42mm version will cost between $599 and $1099.<\/p>\n

A solid gold version, the Apple Watch Edition, will also be available from<\/strong> $10,000 at select retail stores.<\/p>\n

Apple Watch will initially launch in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, with plans to expand into more regions as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

The watch will work with the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, and iPhone 5s.<\/p>\n
