MTN Group says it has appointed Omotayo Ojutalayo as GM for Small and Medium Enterprise Channels within its Enterprise Business Unit, effective immediately.<\/p>\n
Ojutalayo joins from MTN Nigeria, where she was a senior manager responsible for the SME customer segment.<\/p>\n
With the appointment, MTN aims to ensure greater focus on the SME segment at a Group level, the mobile operator said.<\/p>\n
Ojutalayo has been working in MTN’s Nigerian operation for over four years, with a special focus on the SME segment, particularly in sales and business development, and holds an MBA degree from the University of Lagos.<\/p>\n
She will oversee MTN\u2019s strategic and go-to-market approach for the SME customer segment. Ojutalayo will work closely with enterprise business counterparts in MTN\u2019s operations to provide support and ensure successful implementation of the SME value propositions.<\/p>\n
Ojutalayo\u2019s appointment follows other key posts within MTN\u2019s Enterprise Business Unit in recent months, including Debbie Minnaar as general manager for products and services within the Enterprise Business Unit.<\/p>\n
