That is an extra cost. You need vehicle tracking to qualify for reduced insurance rates. In 2024, total <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/motoring\/806240\/vehicle-sales-take-a-huge-hit-in-south-africa-in-2024\/?utm_source=BusinessTech&amp;utm_medium=Article&amp;utm_term=April+2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">vehicle sales dropped<\/a><\/strong> by 3 percent year-on-year to 515,712 units, marking the lowest figure since the 2019 pandemic.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond economics, it highlights a deeper issue: the rising inaccessibility of traditional vehicle ownership for everyday South Africans. A vehicle is more than just transport.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is the bridge between opportunity and independence.
