First National Bank has launched cardless cash withdrawals from ATMs through the FNB Banking App.<\/p>\n
Giuseppe Virgillito, head of Banking App at FNB digital banking says the rollout of this feature was the logical next step.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur latest results show a 67% increase in App transaction volumes. This comes as a result of increased usage across the spectrum of App features as well as more customers who are migrating to the App for their digital banking needs.\u201d<\/p>\n
Over the past year, the FNB Banking App has seen a few new multiple new features added, including lost or stolen card cancellation, opening of new accounts, and ordering of new cards.<\/p>\n
FNB said that cardless cash withdrawal serves as a complementary feature which ensures that you can gain access to cash whenever needed.<\/p>\n
\u201cIrrespective of the reason for not having a card with you, your mobile devices are unlikely to be more than an arm\u2019s length away,\u201d Virgillito said.<\/p>\n
\u201cCardless and cashless features on digital channels ensure simplified banking and 24\/7 access to accounts, no matter what the circumstances.\u201d<\/p>\n

The required latest version of the FNB Banking App is available from the Apple, Android, Windows, and Blackberry app stores.<\/p>\n
According to FNB, there are 1.2 million active devices that currently use the FNB Banking App.<\/p>\n
