South Africa\u2019s leading online retailer, Takealot, has announced the relaunch of its B2B offering, Takealot for Business. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The procurement service aims to simplify the challenges facing businesses across South Africa, from startups and SMMEs to established corporations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Naspers-owned company said that Takealot for Business offers easy-to-use procurement services with 30-day interest-free payment terms, business coupons and rebates.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The system offers single-supplier services for all business categories, from IT equipment to catering supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe recognise that behind every purchasing decision is a person trying to get things done as quickly, efficiently, and stress-free as possible,\u201d said Marlise Bosman, Head of Takealot for Business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe launch of Takealot for Business is our commitment to making their lives easier, allowing them to focus on their core business, while we take care of the rest.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group noted that South African businesses face many daily challenges, including fierce competition, economic pressures, and tight cash flow and resource shortages.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Takealot for Business aims to address this through its procurement services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAt the end of the day, business owners want one less thing to stress about. That\u2019s why we created a platform that takes the hassle out of buying for business,\u201d Bosman added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Businesses can get 30-day interest-free business accounts, access to a streamlined logistics system, as well as exclusive discounts and rebates.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Takealot for Business is one of several products and services offered by Takealot as it looks to break even in 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group recently launched a new standalone business unit focusing on international trade via Takealot Fulfilment Solutions (TFS). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TFS will house the group\u2019s logistics, courier, on-demand, supply chain and international freight capabilities under one brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It forms part of the group\u2019s strategy to grow from South Africa\u2019s biggest e-commerce provider into a tech-driven fulfilment partner. Essentially, the new company will allow for simplified importing and exporting of goods. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In another product launch, Takealot also offers a \u201chome loan hub\u201d in partnership with MortgageMarket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The platform allows customers to view multiple South African banks through a single application on a dedicated Takealot-branded web app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve partnered with MortgageMarket to let you apply once and receive offers from multiple trusted South African banks. It\u2019s like adding a home loan to your cart,\u201d the retailer said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company also recently launched TakealotMORE, a monthly subscription service that gives members unlimited free TakealotNOW deliveries and exclusive coupons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Takealot for Business customers can also benefit from a TakealotMore subscription and can get a 1-month free subscription.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
