Carr holds a Bachelor of Arts from North-West University and an Honours degree from the University of the Free State (UFS), which he obtained in 1990.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At UFS, he also completed his Master of Arts in 1995 and obtained an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning in 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In between these qualifications, Carr obtained an Advanced Diploma in Collective Investments at the Boston School of Finance in 2005.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He started his career as an English teacher, and then worked at Old Mutual as a broker consultant before joining Sanlam in 1999.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He joined Sanlam Personal Portfolios as a Business Development Manager, which later rebranded to Glacier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Carr is now a seasoned Business Development Manager with strong analytical skills and excellent knowledge of sales, investment advisory, and risk management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His team at Glacier services the Free State, North-West, Northern Cape, and parts of the Eastern Cape provinces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
