The new Club Med South Africa Beach and Safari resort<\/a><\/strong> has opened bookings, allowing people to request quotes for a holiday when it launches next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Club Med South Africa is located in the heart of the North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, 20 minutes from King Shaka International Airport and a short drive from Ballito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is the first Club Med to offer a dual location, featuring both beach and safari options. It will also welcome the first Club Med Surf School in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is funded by South African debt funders and equity partners under Tinley Leisure, and construction began in March 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is backed by African Bank, the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC), Tinley Leisure Women\u2019s Investment Group, Collins Residential, and Absa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tinley Leisure\u2019s development director, Chris du Toit, said their South African partners have invested more than R2 billion in Club Med South Africa\u2019s development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The development manager, Collins Residential, has been working closely with the Club Med team to curate a carefully choreographed construction strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collins\u2019 multi-faceted model divided the project into seven major construction packages, ranging from civils and hotel blocks to infrastructure and resort amenities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each package is assigned to a specific contractor team through a rigorous selection process based on credentials and expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur model allows us to adapt, pivot, and hold each contractor accountable in real-time,\u201d du Toit said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhile it\u2019s a more involved approach from our side, it\u2019s how we believe we can best protect the integrity of this project\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week, Du Toit said they have all hands on deck to ensure that Club Med South Africa is ready to launch in nine months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWith all the buildings at roof level, our focus is shifting to internal finishes, whilst landscaping and the final touches to amenities have progressed really well,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are on track for the Club Med South Africa resort opening on 4 July 2026,\u201d Du Toit said in a recent post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Club Med South Africa Beach and Safari resort booking system has opened, allowing people to get a quote for the opening next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Club Med South Africa will bring its signature all-inclusive experience to the country, where guests can expect premium accommodation, gourmet meals, and open bars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has 411 accommodations, including 310 superior rooms, 35 deluxe rooms and 66 suites in the exclusive collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beach resort also features a wide range of land and water activities, as well as a dedicated kids\u2019 club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The resort\u2019s kids’ clubs will offer tailored facilities and certified staff for children of all ages, from 4 months old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is also a strong focus on sport. Club Med visitors will enjoy sailing, surfing, diving, snorkelling, and a surf school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Club Med will offer a unique bush experience through an exclusive safari lodge in the heart of a Big Five game reserve in the north of KwaZulu-Natal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reserve covers over 8,623 hectares, offering a world-class safari experience suitable for families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 80-room lodge will be developed to Club Med standards to offer guests a dual beach and safari experience during their stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe recommended duration is approximately 7 to 10 nights, with around 2 to 3 nights at Mpilo Lodge as an added-on excursion,\u201d Club Med said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Club Med South Africa has launched a season-opening sale, allowing guests to get a quote for departure dates from 4 July 2026 to November 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The platform enables users to plan their travel and obtain a quote. They can compare dates, with or without transport, and the room amenities available on the simulator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cUsers can contact the sales team so that they can discuss their plan with you and refine it as needed. Alternatively, you can book online,\u201d Club Med explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

South Africans will be able to finalise their booking from 14 October 2025, when the season-opening sale kicks off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An all-inclusive South African Beach and Safari stay for two adults for seven days in July 2025 is quoted at R54,958.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
