The store where you can be inspired. The store where you can be supported by one of our 120 teammates, and the store where if you are a pro, you can buy in bulk, quickly and with the best prices.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dufourq explained that this new opening was a very meaningful milestone for the Leroy Merlin brand and its teams in South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is because Leroy Merlin values every new location and sees it as an opportunity to help people improve their homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur vision is very simple. We want South Africans to make their homes the best places to live,\u201d said Dufourq.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was also attended by Dora Mlambo, the MMC for Economic Development, who praised Leroy Merlin\u2019s new Alberton store for its impact on local economic growth and job creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rapid expansion: Cape Town 2027<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This marks Leroy Merlin\u2019s sixth store in South Africa \u2013 as the French company has rapidly expanded since its local launch in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All six current stores are in Gauteng, and the retailer has a seventh store currently in development in KwaZulu-Natal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dufourq also officially confirmed that Leroy Merlin will be opening its first store in Cape Town in 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI will tell you something, and you will be the first to hear it tonight \u2013 our first Cape Town store will open in 2027,\u201d said Dufourq.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBy 2030, we plan to at least triple the number of stores, making us one of the major companies in the market.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a
