On the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, the Top-40 index rose by 0.5%.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, South Africa&#8217;s benchmark 2035 government bond showed improvement, with the yield decreasing by 5 basis points to 8.42%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next week, investors focused on domestic matters will be looking forward to the release of inflation and retail sales data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of Saturday, 18 April, the rand is trading at R16.32 to the dollar, R22.06 to the pound, and R19.20 to the euro.
