Voice revenue grew by 4.7%, while financial services revenue jumped 20%, MTN said.

On energy supply risks, MTN said it is working with its partners to ensure sufficient energy availability to meet its ongoing diesel needs.

South Africa’s MTN said on Tuesday its core earnings jumped 27.9% in the first quarter, outpacing revenue growth as tighter cost control and strong performances in Nigeria and Ghana boosted profit.

[9872
28
post-860177","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-business","tag-mtn
["GET
