Additionally, South Africa&#8217;s benchmark 2035 government bond strengthened, with yields falling by 11.5 basis points to 8.22%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Thursday, 18 June 2026, the rand was trading at R16.32 to the dollar, R21.73 to the pound, and R18.81 to the euro.
