JSE-listed ICT group Datatec Limited’s Logicalis subsidiary has acquired Trovus, a UK business intelligence consultancy, which provides business insight solutions, professional services and managed services to large enterprise clients.<\/p>\n
Trovus\u2019 analytics solutions offering is highly complementary to Logicalis\u2019 Business Analytics and Information Management unit, the group noted in a statement.<\/p>\n
The combination will enable Logicalis to significantly increase the depth of its business intelligence engagement model while retaining its focus on licence and supporting infrastructure sales, it said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis acquisition of Trovus supports our strategic goal of growing annuity revenue streams within the business. Trovus has highly specialised skills,” said Jens Montanana, Datatec CEO.<\/p>\n
“The acquisition will strengthen Logicalis\u2019 Business Analytics and Information Management offering to existing customers and open new doors in the information insights and big data markets.\u201d<\/p>\n
