This \u2018perfect alignment\u2019 of time, place, and people also allowed the new branch to be set up in record time, with Yao revealing that Midea had finished company registration in March and launched its IT system in June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Bright Yao, General Manager of Midea Africa Region.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Additionally, Yao noted that their local laundry factory will soon be fully operational alongside the new subsidiary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Establishing Midea Electric South Africa and the soon-to-be-completed local factory are all part of Midea\u2019s vision to become the number one smart home brand in South Africa and to overcome volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA) challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBut how do we fight the VUCA challenge? We fight VUCA with our own VUCA! We will use our Vision to become the No.1 Smart Home Brand in South Africa to tackle Volatility,\u201d said Yao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe will use our deep understanding of the market to tackle Uncertainty. We will use our Clarity of purpose to tackle complexity.
