{"id":866643,"date":"2026-07-17T14:03:49","date_gmt":"2026-07-17T12:03:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=866643"},"modified":"2026-07-17T14:03:52","modified_gmt":"2026-07-17T12:03:52","slug":"ioco-buys-south-african-cloud-company","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/cloud-hosting\/866643\/ioco-buys-south-african-cloud-company\/","title":{"rendered":"iOCO buys South African cloud company"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>iOCO has entered into a deal to acquire 100% of the issued share capital of Astraia Technologies Proprietary Limited, a cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) service provider. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Astraia is a founder-led company that also provides financial software integration and business process<br>optimisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deal is expected to improve iOCO&#8217;s infrastructure and managed services capabilities, while also expanding its access into enterprise customers and vendor ecosystems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The strategy of making smaller acquisitions that can access iOCO&#8217;s diverse and broad platform allows immediate scalability across products and customers,&#8221; said Rhys Summerton, CEO of iOCO. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We see the opportunity to accelerate iOCO&#8217;s growth with our acquisition strategy&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deal&#8217;s value has not been disclosed to the market.
