It reached 1 million readers within the first month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/newsday.co.za\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click here to read Newsday<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This rapid growth continued, with new subscribers joining the publication daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Newsday now has over 100,000 active subscribers, who all receive the daily Newsday email newsletter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Newsday\u2019s engagement rate, time spent on the site, and the newsletter open rate are also well above industry standards &#8211; which illustrates its strong community and high-quality content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reason for Newsday\u2019s success is that it takes a strong centrist stance and uses data-driven reporting.
