accounts linked to EasyEquities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EasyEquities is an online trading platform in South Africa that gives customers an easy way to invest in the JSE and other markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These online trading platforms have become popular around the world for their simplicity, giving people direct access to markets without going through an investment manager or other third party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It said that the investing platform is also home to roughly 30,000 Absa shareholders and 20,000 people who hold Absa investment products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Absa said the partnership would strengthen its ambition to make financial services more accessible in South Africa by integrating with existing technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The partnership also supports the bank&#8217;s long-term goals involving digital innovation and ecosystem partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EasyEquities will also benefit from the agreement by increasing its client base and boosting the value of the assets held on the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investing intermediary has formed similar partnerships with other banks, helping it grow its client base by making its products easily accessible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has previously partnered with companies such as Capitec and Discovery, providing their customers with investment tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EasyEquities CEO, Charles Savage, said, &#8220;Our mission is to make access to markets available to more people, because markets remain one of the most effective ways to grow and protect wealth over time.&#8221;
