{"id":8785,"date":"2012-03-30T15:38:05","date_gmt":"2012-03-30T13:38:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=8785"},"modified":"2012-03-30T15:50:02","modified_gmt":"2012-03-30T13:50:02","slug":"petrol-price-going-up-by-71c-per-litre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/trending\/8785\/petrol-price-going-up-by-71c-per-litre\/","title":{"rendered":"Petrol price going up by 71c per litre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The retail price of all grades of petrol will increase by 71 cents per litre on Wednesday April 4, the Department of Energy announced on Friday (30 March 2012).<\/p>\n<p>The price of 0.05% sulphur diesel and that of 0.005% sulphur diesel will go up by 51.9 cents and 53.9 cents per litre respectively.<\/p>\n<p>During the period under review, the average international product prices of petrol, diesel and illuminating paraffin increased.<\/p>\n<p>The average rand\/US$ exchange rate strengthened when compared to the previous period.<br \/>\nDuring the period under review, the average international product prices of petrol, diesel and illuminating paraffin increased.<\/p>\n<p>The average Rand\/US Dollar exchange rate strengthened when compared with the previous period.
