The iconic food brand Eskort has appointed Herman Janse van Rensburg as its newest group CEO, effective from March 2027, with incumbent CEO, Arnold Prinsloo, stepping down after 22 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The company said Prinsloo would be involved in the handover process. Van Rensburg will join the group in January 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This would give a two-month induction process for Janse van Rensburg before he officially assumes his new role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Janse van Rensburg is moving to Eskort from the dairy company Lactalis, where he currently serves as the general manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During his 16-year tenure with Lactalis, Janse van Rensburg held several executive positions, including as the company’s business unit executive and CEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Janse van Rensburg said that he looks forward to working with the evolving company and building on its current momentum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Food Brands’ board chairman, Gerard Braak, said the appointment of Janse van Rensburg will bring financial expertise and executive experience to the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
