The new company is backed by Bottomline IT South Africa, a prominent supplier of cybersecurity and data solutions.

Bottomline IT offers users a wide range of AI-powered security solutions ideal for local companies to modernise their IT environments.

It now also offers its own cloud for users to run their IT environments in, through GOLE Cloud.

We outline what GOLE Cloud offers below.

Comprehensive offering

![""]("https://businesstech.co.za/news/wp-content/uploads/2026/11/image-1024x576.png")

These solutions include:

- Infrastructure-as-a-service

- Disaster-recovery-as-a-service

- Backup and data protection

- Software-as-a-service and productivity suites

- Cybersecurity

- Web hosting and domains

- Private and hybrid cloud

- Professional services

- GOLE VPN (Coming soon in December)

These solutions are all powered locally, and thanks to this, companies that work with GOLE Cloud enjoy faster support and infrastructure that has been built with South African realities in mind.

This includes steps to mitigate issues caused by inconsistent power supplies, resulting in GOLE Cloud’s average uptime of 99.9%.

Besides reliability, GOLE Cloud being 100% South African-owned also means it bills its clients in Rands and avoids the unpredictable fee fluctuations that can happen with non-local service providers.

GOLE Cloud’s solutions aren’t just tailored for established South African SMMEs; it has also structured its offering to serve the public sector, education, NGOs, and security cluster entities.

South African start-ups in particular will benefit from choosing GOLE Cloud, as they can add or remove solutions as needed as they grow.

This avoids the need to switch between service providers to accommodate new business requirements.

Made for South Africa

![""]("https://businesstech.co.za/news/wp-content/uploads/2026/11/image-1-1024x576.png")
Reception area for the launch event.

GOLE Cloud was created to fill a need in the South African market, as the country lacks a secure, locally owned and controlled cloud platform that can empower businesses.

GOLE Cloud was therefore created to be as affordable and easy to use as possible while still delivering world-class performance.

This affordability will allow sectors of the market that struggle to secure reliable cloud infrastructure to use GOLE Cloud.

“Our mission is to empower SMMEs, individuals, and enterprises with secure, affordable, locally hosted cloud services that strengthen our economy and protect our data,” said Biscay Mulaudzi, GOLE Cloud CEO.

“Beyond technology, GOLE Cloud is about people. It’s about creating jobs, uplifting the youth, empowering women in tech, and building a digital future that includes all of us.
