{"id":9473,"date":"2012-04-11T09:14:27","date_gmt":"2012-04-11T07:14:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=9473"},"modified":"2012-04-11T09:15:54","modified_gmt":"2012-04-11T07:15:54","slug":"workplace-stress-costs-sa-r3bn-annually","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/trending\/9473\/workplace-stress-costs-sa-r3bn-annually\/","title":{"rendered":"Workplace stress costs SA R3bn annually"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As much as R3 billion a year is being lost to workplace stress, absenteeism, lower productivity, staff turnover, workers&#8217; compensation, medical insurance and other stress-related expenses\u00a0in South Africa according to a \u00a0report by The People Element.<\/p>\n<p>Much of South Africa is experiencing stress in some form according to human resources expert Vicky Eriksson of The People Element.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Unhappy employees are often angry.
