Dawie Roodt, a director and chief economist of the Efficient Group, has provided a three-step plan to fix South Africa and create a brighter future for the country.<\/p>\n
Roodt was recently the victim of a violent housebreaking, which left him seriously injured. He had to undergo multiple operations and spent several\u00a0days in hospital recovering.<\/p>\n
Despite the harrowing event, Roodt said he is not leaving the country. Instead, he urged South Africans to fight back to improve South Africa.<\/p>\n
In an open letter, Roodt said people should forget about government projects like the Industrial Policy Action Plan (IPAP) and the National Development Plan (NDP). \u201cThis is not going to happen,\u201d said Roodt.<\/p>\n
He said that three steps are all that is needed to fix South Africa:<\/p>\n
He said the first step is to hold politicians responsible for doing what needs to be done to make this a reality.<\/p>\n
\u201cLet\u2019s stand up! Let\u2019s walk together! Let us mobilise and refuse to commit crime, be intimidated, bribing, and support corrupt leaders,\u201d said Roodt.<\/p>\n
\u201cDo not tell me it is not possible,\u201d said Roodt. \u201cIt has been done before.\u201d<\/p>\n
