A new report by New World Wealth reveals which safari destinations in Africa are the most popular among the world’s super-wealthy.
The top rated safari lodges were based on a recent New World Wealth survey which focused on the preferences of the super-rich.
Africa received approximately 43,000 multi-millionaire visitors in the 12 months to September 2015, the group said, with South Africa being the most popular destination on the continent with 11,000 super wealthy visitors.
Multi-millionaires are defined as individuals who have a net worth over US$10 millions.
Despite South Africa’s popularity among the super rich, however, Tanzanian safari lodge, &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge was rated as the best safari destination on the continent.
&Beyond Ngala in Timbavati, South Africa, was rated the second best among multi-millionaires, followed by Savanna, in Sabi Sands, SA.
Other countries with popular safari lodges include Zambia, Kenya, Botswana and Uganda.
