Beware this criminal activity at OR Tambo Airport
A new video has emerged showing how criminals operate at South Africa’s busiest airport, OR Tambo in Johannesburg.
The airport is synonymous with gangs robbing people travelling to or from the airport, however CCTV footage posted by CrimeWatch appears to show a man brazenly taking the luggage of a passenger being attended to at a car rental agency.
The man loiters around the service counter, waiting for an opportunity to grab an untended bag, and appears to have an accomplice.
Upon seeing his opportunity, the man casually picks up the rucksack of an unsuspecting passenger, and concealing it under his coat, walks away calmly, and is followed by is accomplice.
